Because the process is flame-free, there is no messy residue, only realistic texture that marries ancient tradition with modern living. Thermory's thermally modified Nordic spruce never shrinks, giving you unmatched stability along with 25 years of proven rot resistance, and the smooth Nordic softwood surface is never too hot to the touch.
Thermory barrels are larger than standard barrel saunas. The 60 Series "Large" barrels measure more than seven feet across inside, giving you plenty of headroom for standing and 2 foot deep benches for lying down, with room for four to six people and a 9 kW Wi-Fi enabled HUUM heater included. The 50 Series "Cozy" barrels are perfect for two, with some models large enough for four, and include a 4.5 kW Wi-Fi enabled HUUM heater. Staves are thicker than most on the market for better heat retention and less outside noise, a keystone stave at the top and bottom keeps water from sitting in the gaps, and every model ships with a rain jacket for all-weather protection. Add an optional porch, extra-wide half-moon window, two-tiered bench, or full panoramic window, and assemble the pre-cut, pre-milled kit in less than a day.
